22 November:
On the 27, 28 and 29 November, David Blaine will attempt to survive 3 days in a block of ice wearing only a hat, trousers and special gel protecting him from the ice surrounding him. He will have 2 inches between himself and the ice making it even more dangerous as he could suffer blood clots and there is also the possibility of dead skin from the severe coldness

The day has arrived, today, David Blaine will take the biggest risk of his life as he enters the huge block of ice for 58 hours. Television cameras and audiences have gathered in Times Square to see the Magic Man step into the ice. With only the aid of water, he will remain still and in the ice for the next 2 and a half days
28 November
He survives the first night in the ice, although he is very tired, he is motivated by the crowds cheering him on through his quest to be "Frozen in Time". The increasing bad wet conditions mean Blaine has to put his sweater on but this is not stopping him from completing this fete

29 November
David Blaine comes out of the ice! At 10 o'clock, David was cut from the ice to be crowned "Frozen in Time", everyone was relieved as he almost died a few hours ago as one of his vital tubes was accidentally cut and he let out a huge scream.... it was later sorted in time though thankfully. Many crowded around to see him being cut from the ice, once the block was cut open, everyone shouted with delight that he made it through 2 and a half gruelling days of being isolated in a block of ice. Once David was cut from the ice though, he was taken straight to hospital suffering from hypothermia and pneumonia. This will go down as one of the greatest stunts anyone has ever seen
