David "Magic Man" Blaine
Blaine's Tricks
One of the most incredible types of magic he does is card magic. This type of magic has got him where he is today. His tricks are unbelievable and sometimes simply unthinkable. In this section, I will give you some of the tricks I have seen him do but I won't reveal them as it is better not to know than to know.
2 Card Monte
This is a great trick and requires a lot of practice to get this mastered.
Effect:
David shows two aces to spectator, the spectator holds them face down, David then reveals that they have changed to two kings!!
Card Thru Window
This trick is one of the most incredible I have ever seen
Effect:
Spectator picks a card and then they place it back into the pack, David throws the pack against a window and it is the spectators card!!
Take a bite out of a coin
This trick is really cool and lots of people think you are not human if you do this!
Effect:
David bites a coin, the coin is shown and some of it has been bitten of... then he blows on it and it is restored!!
360 degree arm twist
David twists his arm round 360 degrees!
Effect:
David puts his arm on the ground, he then asks someone to twist it and it goes round 360 degrees!!
Floating dollar note
David floats a note in mid-air!!
Effect:
He starts with it in his hand, he concentrates and the note floats upwards out of his hand!!
Cigarette thru coin
When I first saw this, I could not quite believe what he was doing!!
Effect:
David is lent a cigarette by a spectator, he is then given a coin and he proceeds to put the cigarette thru the coin!!
Levitation
Many think that he just lifts his heel up and pretends to levitate, but I believe that the levitation he does is real as I can't see how he could do it in broad daylight in the middle of New York with people walking past him, they could just see it and tell everyone it is fake
Effect:
David levitates before the spectator's eyes!!
